What's happening?
Lebanon is the scene of an ever growing economic crisis that has exacerbated pre-existing development constraints, humanitarian needs and livelihood opportunities. The UN estimates that “78 percent of the Lebanese lives below the poverty line – some three million people – with 36 percent of the population living in extreme poverty.”
Founded in 2015, LSR is a non-political and non-confessional organisation committed to empower youth and advocate social responsibility among all lebanese citizens.

Our Vision is a healthy, productive and engaged community through its youth, empowered to create a positive future.

LSR’s mission is to
1. Ensure protection and provide assistance to vulnerable populations through sustainable solutions.
2. Contribute to developing society through advocating, supporting and empowering its youth.
3. Enhance national and local capacities by empowering them to create lasting change in their own lives and communities.

With Local development as our main objective, we seek to pursue and implement sustainability projects, trainings, capacity building, psychological support and many more initiatives that align with our mission and would help us eventually achieve our vision.
