LSR Officially Member of ARAB Voluntary Union.

LSR celebrated becoming a member in the Arab Voluntary Union, in the presence the Organization’s advisor in Lebanon, Mr. Charbel Kabalan, joined by His Excellency Sheikh Hassan Hazaa, Bishop Michan AAoun, Sheikh Ahmed Laqis, Dr. Antoine Issa, Mayor of Amchit, President of the League Mayors Michel Gibran, Financial Secretary of Caritas Association in Lebanon, Sister Emily Tannous, and representatives of charities and other social institutions.

LSR Executive Director, Elie Zaidan, emphasized the importance of the work carried out by NGOs in light of the economic crisis to help citizens, and empower local youth to be role models in their society. He stressed that "despite the difficulties, we refused to emigrate and insisted on staying in our homeland believing in our ability to make a change, and give hope to our community.”
