Breaking the stigma of mental health is important for everyone, especially for men and particularly, in the Middle East, facing unique challenges in seeking help and support.In response to the on-going crisis, LSR in collaboration with ABAAD is providing a training to men on how to deal and cope with stress currently exacerbated by socio-economical challenges.

احتفلت جمعية LSR ببداية فصل الربيع بنزهة سيراً على الاقدام الى قرية بجرّين المهجورة في قضاء جبيل. المتطوعون في الجمعية ساروا في الوادي المؤدي الى القرية وقاموا بتنظيف الطريق التي اتبعوها. ودعا المشاركون جميع المواطنين الى زيارة هذه القرية والى التنزه بالطبيعة لما في ذلك من أثر ايجابي على الصحة النفسية، مع الحفاظ على نظافة الاماكن التي يقصدونها لان الطبيعة ملكاً لجميع المخلوقات وهي اولا وآخراً اساس الحياة على الأرض فالحفاظ عليها فيه مصلحة للجميع.

Being intentional about self-care and rest is often a difficult decision for working women and mothers. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, LSR have conducted a one-day workshop for Message de Paix association employees - Maad Center, reinforcing and encouraging the value of self-care.

ان تتخذ النساء العاملات والامهات عمداً قرار الاهتمام بأنفسهنّ والراحة ليس أمراً سهلاً! لذلك، ولمناسبة عيد الأم، أقامت الجمعية اللبنانية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية LSR ورشة عمل ليوم واحد حضرها موظفو جمعية "رسالة سلام"، في مركزها في معاد. وهدفت ورشة العمل هذه الى التشجيع على معرفة قيمة الرعاية الذاتية وأهمية الاهتمام بأنفسنا.

The session aims at raising awareness on self-protection, empowerment and protection from Gender-Based Violence.

The session will took place on Thursday 9 , at 3:00 pm .

Members of LSR proudly participated in a workshop about Social contract co-organized by GIZ and BMZ in the context of their "Social Participation and Community Engagement by Youth" initiative.

This initiative is closely linked to our identity and goals; empowering youth and engaging them in their communities through developing their skills.

On February 6, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck northwestern Syria and southern Turkey, causing a state of emergency. About 6,000 buildings have collapsed, over 20,000 people have died, and many more are injured.

To help to those impacted as a result of this devastating and destructive earthquake, LSR will be collecting donations [food, clothes, blankets, supplies…] that will be distributed directly to areas in Syria affected by the earthquake.

Our condolences to those who have lost their lives.

Through PSS, we aim to provide a safe and supportive space for children to express themselves freely and develop capacities that help them deal with the emotional, social, and practical challenges that they may face in their daily lives.
