“The Mar Mansour de Paul - Gherfine" Association, Jbeil District, inaugurated its fourth food exhibition, under the patronage of the Maronite Diocese of Jbeil, Bishop Michel Aoun, and in the presence of father Rene Jaara and Monsignor Nabih Al-Tars.

The exposition highlights the importance of showing solidarity on a social and national level to overcome the difficult circumstances our country is facing.

Lebanon is the scene of an ever growing economic crisis that has exacerbated pre-existing development constraints, humanitarian needs and livelihood opportunities. The UN estimates that “78 percent of the Lebanese lives below the poverty line – some three million people – with 36 percent of the population living in extreme poverty.”

Founded in 2015, LSR is a non-political and non-confessional organisation committed to empower youth and advocate social responsibility among all lebanese citizens.

Our Vision is a healthy, productive and engaged community through its youth, empowered to create a positive future.

LSR’s mission is to

1. Ensure protection and provide assistance to vulnerable populations through sustainable solutions.

2. Contribute to developing society through advocating, supporting and empowering its youth.

3. Enhance national and local capacities by empowering them to create lasting change in their own lives and communities.

With Local development as our main objective, we seek to pursue and implement sustainability projects, trainings, capacity building, psychological support and many more initiatives that align with our mission and would help us eventually achieve our vision.

LSR hosted a free vaccination campaign, coordinated by the Lebanese Red Cross, The ministry of Health and UNICEF .

Today we kicked off a new cycle of resilience-building Psycho-Social Support activities in LSR Amchit to support the self-development and mental well-being of participating children

Through PSS , we aim to provide a safe and supportive space for children to express themselves freely and develop capacities that help them deal with emotional , social and practical challenges that they may face in their daily lives .

LSR held its monthly meeting chaired by Amal Farhat Bassil president of the board of directors , in the presence of its chief executive officer Elie Zeidan .

The organization discussed several matters in its meeting in relation with the implementation of many activities with the arrival of Christmas season .

We are happy to introduce our new partners: Al Najat Village.

Al Najat Association was founded in 2011.Al Najat Village is a Lebanese civil, non-governmental, non-profit, secular organisation that seeks to provide qualitative and impartial psychological support to communities by providing a variety of mental health services regardless of the nationality, ethnicity or religion.

Al Najat provides psychological care to children, adolescents and adults, including crisis counselling, trauma therapy, play-therapy, integrative therapies as well as group dynamics.Make sure to keep up with us for the latest activities at LSR Amchit.
